The client is responsible for ensuring that any materials supplied to Makis Web do not infringe the rights of third parties.

Delays caused by missing information, delayed feedback or delayed approvals may affect the project timeline.

5. Project Timelines

Estimated project timelines are provided in good faith and may depend on the complexity of the project and the client’s cooperation.

Makis Web is not responsible for delays caused by:

• Missing content or information
• Third-party services
• Hosting or domain providers
• Software or platform updates
• Technical issues outside our reasonable control
• Events beyond our control

Where significant delays occur, the project timeline may be adjusted accordingly.

6. Payments

Prices and payment terms will be communicated to the client before work begins.

Unless otherwise agreed in writing, invoices must be paid according to the payment schedule specified in the proposal or invoice.

For projects requiring an upfront deposit, work may begin only after the required payment has been received.

Additional work outside the agreed scope may incur additional charges.

Makis Web reserves the right to suspend work or access to services where outstanding payments remain unpaid.

7. Revisions and Changes

The number of revisions included in a project, where applicable, will be specified in the relevant proposal or agreement.

Makis Web may recommend or configure third-party services but does not guarantee the continued availability, performance, pricing or policies of third-party providers.

The client may be required to maintain separate accounts or subscriptions with third-party providers.

Third-party fees are not included in Makis Web’s service fees unless explicitly stated otherwise.

9. Website Content

Unless otherwise agreed, the client is responsible for providing or approving the content used on their website.

The client represents that they have the necessary rights, licenses and permissions to use any content they provide, including text, images, videos, trademarks, logos and other materials.

Makis Web is not responsible for legal claims arising from content supplied by the client.

10. Intellectual Property

Unless otherwise agreed in writing, Makis Web retains ownership of its pre-existing materials, development processes, templates, frameworks, code libraries, design systems, tools and other proprietary resources used in providing services.

Upon full payment of the agreed project fees, the client will receive the rights to use the final deliverables created specifically for the client, subject to any third-party licenses or restrictions.

Third-party software, plugins, themes, fonts, images, APIs and other licensed materials remain subject to their respective licenses and terms.

Makis Web does not transfer ownership of third-party intellectual property.

11. Portfolio and Marketing Rights

Unless the client requests otherwise in writing, Makis Web may display completed projects, screenshots, logos or descriptions of completed work in its portfolio, website, social media, presentations and marketing materials.

If a project is confidential or subject to a non-disclosure agreement, Makis Web will respect the applicable confidentiality obligations.

12. SEO and Advertising Services

SEO, advertising and digital marketing services involve factors that are outside Makis Web’s direct control.

We do not guarantee:

• Specific search engine rankings
• A particular amount of website traffic
• A specific number of leads or sales
• Advertising platform approval
• A specific return on advertising spend
• Specific revenue or business results

Search engines, advertising platforms and social media platforms may change their algorithms, policies, pricing or functionality at any time.

13. Third-Party Platforms

Websites and systems may depend on third-party platforms and services.

Makis Web is not responsible for interruptions, changes, restrictions, account suspensions, API changes, security incidents or other issues caused by third-party providers.

Where a third-party service becomes unavailable or changes its functionality, reasonable efforts may be made to identify an alternative solution, but additional work or costs may apply.

14. Maintenance and Support

Maintenance and support services are provided only where included in the client’s agreement or subscription.

Unless otherwise agreed, ongoing maintenance does not automatically include new features, redesigns, major structural changes, content creation or extensive troubleshooting.

Additional services may be quoted separately.

15. Confidentiality

Makis Web will treat confidential client information received in connection with a project with reasonable care and will not knowingly disclose such information to unauthorized third parties, except where disclosure is required by law or necessary to provide the agreed services.

The client is also expected to keep confidential any proprietary information, materials or business information provided by Makis Web.

17. Disclaimer
